The Teens Meet in September 2009 had offshoots in March 2010, with the 14 teens who met as small groups to share their present and to dream a future of making Jesus relevant to their fellow teens in today’s world. The day featured a time of prayer, audio visual plays on current teen issues, shared meals like the early Christians where each of them brought what they had, fun time with games and the climax of small sharing small groups in which they began to share, support and pray together, which would lead to the next camp in late 2010. Each teen have taken up challenges to start rosary groups, to bring other teens to the next camp, to increase their quiet time with the Lord and so forth. The Jesus youth in Brisbane are very hopeful that we will have a very vibrant youth ministry in the years to come.
