The Perth one day program ‘Light’ had 60 amazing teens who came together for the first time as a true hallmark of Jesus Youth Perth’s 60 days intersession. Teens from different communities made it unique with one each from the Vietnamese, Italian, Philippine, El-salvador-1 and the rest from the Indian community.  It was held at the Holy Name Catholic Church Parish hall in Carlisle, Western Australia. The gathering was blessed to have Fr. Rojan Joseph, Fr. Johnson and Fr. Joseph Tran whose Eucharistic Celebration was made memorable; as at every moment the word ‘happy’ was mentioned in the Beatitudes, all tapped their feets to express ‘happy’ so that was indeed a happy moment. The program had Br. Bonny, Lijo, Jonathan, Alex and Nimmy as resources and was coordinated by Betty Sunil of Perth.

The teens described the program as being enjoyable and an experience of Jesus’ love. They are all set to come for the next and this has boosted the Jesus Youth in Perth to thrive into the future with hope.
