The mission trip - ‘Chalo Jharkhand’ - organised by the National Teens Ministry was held from 29th April to 20th May 2010. The preparatory retreats, held separately for the participants from North and South India, were led by a team comprising of Dony Peter, C.C. Joseph, Fr. Binoy, Subin Jacob and Geo P George. All the 24 participants were then given a mission-oriented training at Ranchi. Most Rev. Charles Soreng (Bishop of Hazaribagh) also visited the teen leaders and celebrated Mass for them.

Village stay, house visits, social outreach, putting up small programmes and personal interactions formed the major part of the group’s stay at Jharkhand.
