Jesus Youth Teens Ministry

Jesus Youth Teens Ministry is one of the several ministries of Jesus Youth focusing on initiatives and sustained formation programmes targeting school students from classes 8th to 12th.

Inspired by the Scripture, “We will not keep them from our children; we will tell the next generation about the Lord’s power and his great deeds and the wonderful things he has done”-Psalms 78:4, the ministry aims at the holistic development of a teenage student, which will result in their faith formation and character formation by introducing them to the Jesus-centered lifestyle from their early period of life. As this is the prime age during which children begin to develop an attitude towards life, it is the apt time to encourage them to develop constant companionship with Jesus.

With the vision “To mould the generation of spiritually dynamic, socially responsible and intellectually alert teenagers for Christ”, the ministry provides a platform for teenagers to exhibit their vibrancy even in prayer, there by being able to relate better spirituality and also attract more teenagers to a life with Jesus. The Ministry helps teenagers to build themselves as responsible citizens who are well aware of their social responsibilities. Simultaneously teenagers realize the need to equip themselves with greater knowledge and practical wisdom. They become alert to slight opportunities and make the best of them. But all the while their driving force will be Christ.

Jesus Youth Teens Ministry has a widespread network all over the World. Different initiatives like Prayer groups, Teens Retreats and Conferences, Outreaches, Initial Programmes, Training Programmes for teenagers and supporting leaders, Mission Outreaches etc are regularly held in different parts of the world.

The Teens’ National Team co-ordinates the functioning of the ministry at the National Level.
